We work with our partners, volunteers, donors and even as middlemen to help match foodbanks with the food they need and or the funding they are looking for. Origin Story
How We Started
In mid-2022, the founder of Feed the West Coast (FTWC) stood at a pivotal moment. Witnessing the large amounts of food wastage within the food industry, he knew it was time for a change. Fueled by a profound commitment to make a difference in British Columbia, he established Feed the West Coast in May 2023. This non-profit organization emerged with a clear purpose: to address food insecurity and support local food banks through strategic partnerships and donees. Guided by a vision of a sustainable and nourished future, FTWC embarked on a journey looking to bring about a transformative impact and bring hope to the lives of those facing food insecurity.
From inception to action, FTWC has become a force of change in BC’s fight against hunger. We invite you to stand with us and be the driving force that leads us closer to our vision of a hunger-free community.
